When you submit a startup listing, we collect:
- Founder name and email address
- Startup name, description, website URL, and social links
- Optional logo image (stored as compressed image data)
- Optional screenshot URL
- Payment confirmation data via PayPal (we do not store card details)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Display your startup listing publicly in the directory
- Send transactional emails (submission confirmation, review status, approval/rejection)
- Process and verify payments via PayPal
- Communicate with you about your listing
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except:
- PayPal — for payment processing
- Resend — for transactional email delivery
- Neon (PostgreSQL) — for secure database hosting
- When required by law or legal process
4. Public Listing Data
Approved startup listings are publicly visible. This includes your startup name, description, website, social links, logo, and category. Your founder email is never displayed publicly.
5. Data Retention
We retain your listing data for as long as the listing is active. If you request removal, we will delete your listing and associated personal data within 30 days. Contact us at support@saaslift.fityra.app to request deletion.
6. Website Analytics
SaaSLift uses first-party analytics to understand which pages are visited and improve the product experience. We may collect page path, referrer, browser/device information, anonymous visitor ID, IP address, and country information from api.myip.com. We also store a hashed copy of the IP address for analysis. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
7. Cookies and Local Storage
SaaSLift uses admin session cookies for authentication. Public analytics may use local storage to keep an anonymous visitor ID so repeat visits can be counted without identifying you by name or email.
8. Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted database connections, HTTPS-only access, and hashed/signed authentication tokens. No security measure is perfect — use the contact page to report vulnerabilities responsibly.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your listing and personal data

10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of SaaSLift after changes constitutes acceptance.
